Are teachers prepared for the new era? Are they trained to evolve to keep pace with society? Does it change the university curriculum to prepare teachers depending on the times where we? and finally, what does the state handle all this?, answers to these questions are no, no, no and no, respectively.
We are in a Western society in the XXI century in a country where the education of youth is increasingly grim, outdated and too little interest to young people and the times to come. This topic is very broad, since less than a month for the general election major political parties do not talk about education, or any educational reform, what's the matter? Are the children of today who will be the future of Spain tomorrow, no matter? In short, this is not is the issue to be addressed here and now, but it was just a reflection that another day will expand. But focusing on the topic, which I wanted to assess which is the teachers are they prepared for the new era? Not really, because the state does not change the curriculum, the university is passive in this situation and students demanding other subjects much more in tune with the needs that are created are not ignoring us, so what is the solution? simply because no, because while the government is not interested in this topic, there is nothing to do. The only thing left is that educators and social workers who are active and create projects training, retraining and expansion of capacity, as you said the word, train teachers for better teaching in schools, because we are not sure which schools are schools where teaching and learning and not where instructed. So, plainly, in conclusion, say that we must build on capacities and skills of teachers so they can educate in a multicultural and intercultural, as well as acquire the skills needed to manage the IT aspects and new technologies related to the progress of our society and ultimately to acquire a set of values \u200b\u200band affective skills involving teachers beyond the purely academic, doing so in turn may introduce other issues such as education cross road, environmental education, peace education, and more ...


Therefore, main goal, say desired modernization of the education system, as well as professionals with educational work in schools, to grow with society and create a school that interests and not a school that transmits the knowledge that our parents because they transmtian many years ago ...
